>EdgeCeptional Catering and The Edge Cafe

The EdgeCafe was a truly fun and juicy project. It was time for The Edge Cafe to revisit their brand and find a look that could grow with them into the future. The catering arm - EdgeCeptional Catering - was the starting point. The profile of the needed to be raised to better reflect where they wanted to position themselves in their industry as well as tobetter reflect their high quality services. Many applications from business cards to menus have been designed and implemented with more to come! click for pdf

>FORME Ergonomics and Workplace Heath

Abstract Creative was happy to consult with Carmel Murphy as she prepared for her move into entrepreneurship. We were asked to consult with her on name creation and to develop a logomark that would help differentiate her in her field. The final chosen concept is based on the ancient tangram puzzles. This concept related to Carmel’s methods of working relating to ergonomics. We wanted to portray how ergonomics is like a puzzle and is about fitting the person to their environment. We also wanted to show a sense of movement. The purple was chosen as a regal yet stable and approachable colour and this more vibrant shade expresses energy. click for pdf

>Peace Arch Hospital Foundation Survey

Many times our role is to support what is already existing. This is a good case in point. The Peace Arch Hospital Foundation was looking for a way to get feed back on it’s lottery campaign. We designed this survey to blend seemlessly with their existing site and brand. A traditional direct mail letter was also sent to drive traffic to the survey. click for pdf

>VPAC Construction CV brochure

We enjoyed working with VPAc again to create this capabilities/introduction brochure. It's a great 'leave behind' piece after meetings and gives an idea of the scope of projects they have completed. This was a very small run - 10 brochures total! Professional results are possible for small runs thanks to new technology and digital printing. Wanna check it out? click for pdf

>OC Spa - Vancouver Fashion Week program ad

We met OC Spa through Enn Jurgenson of Banagarang Communications, who acted as matchmaker/art director on this project. This ad was created to draw in customers during fashion week, in addition we created a invitation for a special event the spa hosted. I just love how the colour looks in this piece. So lush. >Variety The Children's Charity Lottery 2008 - Launched!

A great charity to support and it's always an interesting challenge to create a fun and dynamic style to appeal and function when used on the web, brochure, direct mail, posters, tickets, emailblasts, and numerous newspaper ads. Six years of working with the lottery and the team is still a great group to work with.
